How an agency runs branded links for twenty clients
A workspace structure, naming convention and reporting rhythm that survives client churn.

One domain per client
Each client gets their own short domain, added to the agency account. Links are branded to the client, not the agency, and if the relationship ends the client keeps their domain and their links — which is a selling point, not a risk.
Teams and permissions
A team per client, with the account managers who work on it. Domains attach to teams, so nobody sees links for accounts they are not on. Read-only roles for clients who want to look without breaking anything.
Folder defaults do the tedious work
A folder per campaign, with default UTM values set at the folder level. Anyone creating a link in that folder gets correct tagging automatically. This is what makes conventions actually hold across a team.
Naming that reads six months later
client-channel-campaign-date as the slug pattern, lowercase, hyphenated. Tags for channel and campaign type. It looks bureaucratic until the quarterly report, when it saves a day.
Reporting
A shared statistics link per client, revocable, with a 30-day window. Clients get live numbers without an account, and the agency does not build slide decks from screenshots.
The handover
When a client leaves, transfer the domain and export their links. It takes ten minutes and it is the difference between a professional exit and a support ticket.
