The link editor and its tabs

Updated 2026-09-08

Opening a link puts everything about it in one drawer, split across tabs. Most people use three of them. The rest exist because one workflow somewhere needs them.

The tabs

  • Basic link editing — slug, title, destination, tags, folder, query-string merging, plus a read-only details panel showing clicks, human clicks, conversions, creation date, last click, creator, link ID and whether the link is encrypted.
  • Mobile targeting — separate iOS and Android destinations, and the Android intent fields.
  • Campaign tracking — the five UTM parameters with a live preview of the final URL, and saved campaign templates.
  • Geo-targeting — city, region, country and continent rules.
  • Temporary URL — expiry date, click limit, TTL and a fallback destination.
  • Link cloaking — keep the short URL in the address bar.
  • Password protection — a password and a contact address for the gate page.
  • QR code — the full QR studio, saved as this link's style.
  • A/B testing — up to ten weighted variations, or rotation mode.
  • HTTP Status — 301, 302, 307 or 308 for this link.
  • Social media — Open Graph, X card and App Links metadata.
  • Link permissions — restrict the link to named teammates.
  • Tracking — per-link GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel and AdRoll IDs, plus a custom snippet.
  • Link bundle — add this link as a button on a bundle page.

  • App deep links — phones open YouTube, Instagram, WhatsApp, Spotify, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Telegram, Amazon or your own app scheme in the app, with the web page as the fallback. Desktop visitors, bots and in-app browsers get the normal redirect.
  • Referrer routing — up to 20 rules, first match wins: Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google, WhatsApp, TikTok, Reddit, direct traffic or any website, plus an optional default for everyone else.
  • Returning visitors — the first visit goes to the normal destination; from visit N (2 to 100) the visitor goes to another page. Remembered with a cookie on your short domain.
  • Click alerts — an email, a webhook or both at up to ten click milestones or a daily click count. Each alert is sent once.
  • Bots & crawlers — send bots to their own URL, block them, and choose whether their clicks count. Social preview crawlers keep reading your preview tags.

On every plan, pasting a URL fills in the page title and suggests tags and three free slugs; the Basic tab shows the same chips.

Rearranging them

The control at the end of the tab strip opens SHOW TABS: a checkbox and a drag handle per tab. Hide the ones you never open and reorder the rest. Basic link editing cannot be hidden or moved. The layout is saved to your profile, so it follows you to every link on every device, and it is per person — hiding a tab does not hide it from your colleagues.

Pro-gated tabs

Mobile targeting, App deep links, A/B testing, Referrer routing, Returning visitors, Click alerts, Bots & crawlers, Geo-targeting, Temporary URL, Cloaking, Password protection, HTTP Status, Social media, Link permissions and Tracking are paid features — the pricing page shows which plan each one needs. On the free plan the tab still opens and explains itself, but the fields are not saved: the server strips gated fields on write and the save response names the features that were dropped, which the dashboard surfaces as a warning rather than a silent success.

Open the link, jump to its statistics, or use the overflow menu to copy the short URL, duplicate, archive or delete. Deleting is permanent and frees the slug; archiving hides the link from the table while the redirect keeps working.
